The Trash Pack GarbageTruck are a new line of toys incorporating a number of "icky" characters, perfect for collecting and swapping with friends. Toys R Us have named the Trash Pack range as some of the hottest new toys for the 2011 holiday season. In particular, the Trash Pack Garbage Truck is sure to be at the top of kids' wish lists this year.

What Is The Trash Pack?

The Trash Pack is a range of characters - known as "trashies" - all named after different items that you might literally find in the trash. A number of games for trashies have been developed, including Stack the Trash, Take Out the Trash and others, and the toys are highly collectible.

In total, there are over 100 different trashies for kids to collect and swap with friends. The rarest trashies glow in the dark, and some of the different characters include: Putrid Pizza, Garbage Gull, Mucky Maggot and Germ-Worm. If you're lucky, you might find some limited edition trashies: Trash Cat, King Rat or Soggy Tomato.

Features of the Trash Pack Garbage Truck:

* Designed as a place for kids to store their collected trashies (holds up to 10),
* Comes with two trashies included,
* Compatible with all Trash Pack characters.

Is The Trash Pack Garbage Truck Worth Buying For Your Child?

Kids love playing with the Trash Pack Garbage Truck thanks to the way it operates. Put the trashies into the wheelie bin and use the "tip and flip" action to dump them into the trash truck. Or they can launch them using the included bin launcher! It sounds simple, but it's great fun for little kids.

The fun also lies in the fact that they're collectible. Kids just love collecting and trading toys with their friends. Some trashies are rarer than others, so kids are bound to end up with duplicates which they'll need to swap with friends to get the whole set. And just wait to see the look on your child's face if they're lucky enough to get a rare trashie in their set!

The trashies themselves are all unique, coming in a range of different shapes, colors and designs to represent disgusting bits of trash. This seems to appeal to young kids - why is it that they love to play with gross objects? Thankfully, these just look gross and are perfectly harmless for your child!

Although the Trash Pack toys aren't necessarily any different from trading toys that came before them (e.g. the Squinkies), they're well-priced and come in fun designs. The Trash Pack Garbage Truck is an excellent choice of gift for any young child (aged around five or up) who loves to collect trashies, or who you think may be interested in starting.
