For any child who loves the Star Wars movies, the Lego Star Wars Millennium Falcon set is the perfect gift. Once built, this set is fantastic for recreating the famous escape scene from Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope.

Should You Buy the Lego Star Wars Millennium Falcon Set For Your Child?
As with any Lego product, the small parts mean that this product isn't suitable for any children under the age of three. Because of the complexity of putting it together, Lego recommend it as a toy for children aged 9 to 14, though younger children may enjoy it, too, with a little help from their parents.
This isn't one of the cheapest Lego sets, at well over $100. However, most parents consider it to be well worth it considering how much use their kids get out of it. It's also more durable than previous versions of the product, and it looks incredibly impressive once it's all put together!
Due to the size of this Lego set, there's more than enough space for kids to play inside the ship once it's put together. The folding panels on the roof of the Falcon make for an easy way to reveal most of its various areas. With the included minifigures, your children can recreate the famous escape scene from episode IV, playing with friends or on their own. Some have complained that the cockpit is a little small, however.
The figures themselves haven't seen much improvement since older versions of the Star Wars sets, though the Darth Vader figure looks a lot more detailed. Unfortunately, C-3P0 and R2-D2 aren't included, which may disappoint some fans. It's not worth buying just for the minifigures for this reason, but the ship itself looks great and is well worth the cost.
This isn't just a toy for children, either. It's a fantastic gift for collectors or any Star Trek fan. The only downside is that the minifigures haven't been upgraded. Other than that, most parents feel that the Lego Star Wars Millennium Falcon is well worth the price tag for a high quality set that's challenging but not too hard to put together.
