The best thing about the Imaginext Bat Cave is that it comes with so many features to play with, including a telescope and bat hook. There are four floors for your characters to explore, accessed by a secret entrance. When you stand them in the activation points you can unlock several secret functions, including a turnstile.
All these features make for more imaginative play: your kids will love seeing Batman and Robin sneak into the cave and hiding out before catching the villains. After they have caught them they can put them into the jail.
Since the set is compatible with other Imaginext toys, there's good potential for playing with a variety of superheroes. Unfortunately, however, the set doesn't include the bad guys (Joker or Penguin) or Robin - you'll have to buy these separately. You can even combine this Imaginext Bat Cave with the older version of the toy - thankfully they come with different features that add to the overall play experience when combined.
Although the playset does require some initial setup, it's very fast. You simply need 2 AAA batteries and a phillips screwdriver to secure the parts. It won't be long after you open the box until it's ready for your child to enjoy.
The Imaginext Bat Cave really is an excellent toy for young children between the ages of 3 and 7. It's easy to set up, yet comes with so many hidden features that'll keep your child interested for hours at a time. If they love superheroes then you can't go wrong with this playset!
