This Air Swimmer is an inflatable shark (57 inches long by 36 inches tall) that you can control via remote control. As it floats through the air, it moves its tail from side to side, making it look as though it really is "swimming" through the air. It also comes in the form of a floating Clownfish.

The Air Swimmers Flying Shark can be deflated when you're not using it, and inflated again and again whenever you want to bring it out. You'll need to inflate it with helium, but once you have it'll stay inflated for up to two weeks. Its design means that it gently bumps against any walls and objects, instead of crashing into them.

The remote control means you can move it up down, or around a full 360 degrees, from up to 40 feet away. You'll need 4 AAA batteries in order to use the floating shark.

Should You Buy The Air Swimmers Flying Shark For Your Child?

The best thing about the Air Swimmer toys is their surprise factor! Parents love to bring them out at parties to surprise everyone. Kids and adults alike will be so impressed with the way this toy looks as it literally swims through the air. You only need to watch a video of this toy in action to see just how well it works.

The fact that it needs to be filled with helium could be a bit of a hassle for some parents, but it shouldn't be too difficult to get your hands on. You can either purchase your own helium canister, or take the toy to a party supplier who can fill it up with helium for you. It lasts for two weeks at a time, so shouldn't be too inconvenient for bringing it out at parties and so on.

There are two versions of this Air Swimmer: infra-red and radio control. The latter, which is what this article reviews, is a better option, as it has a much bigger flying range to make it easy to maneuver. The added benefit of radio control is that it won't lose its connection even when navigating doors and other corners around your home.

One word of warning: if you buy this item, be very careful not to use it outside. Unless you keep it tethered, it will fly away just like any other helium balloon!

In short the Air Swimmer Remote Control Inflatable Floating Shark or Clownfish are both excellent, quirky toys. They're fun even if you don't have kids to play with them. Bring it out at a party and you can't beat the look on your guests' faces!
